Jibes and Entity come together as a data craftsmanship and analytics solutions provider

Jibes, based in the Netherlands, and Entity Group, headquartered in the UK are to join forces. The combined group will focus on helping customers with their digital transformation through the governance, management and exploitation of critical data assets. This is increasingly relevant as the pace of technology advancement continues to accelerate with the rise of artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics and hyper connectivity. At the same time concerns over data privacy, information usage and job security continue to grow. Driven by the need to introduce new business models, more than ever before, data has become a board room subject.

With these profound changes, organisations are in search of an experienced services partner to work with them to get the maximum value from their data asset through data strategy, compliance and analytics. This is Data Craftsmanship. Jibes and Entity have come together to offer these specialist capabilities to customers in Europe, the UK and the USA. The group is backed by Waterland Private Equity.

Ivo-Paul Tummers, CEO Jibes: “The delivery of software solutions is changing to include packaged and managed services offerings. The IT industry would have you believe that all will be plug-and-play, but it will become increasingly complex and challenging to successfully introduce an analytics strategy to your enterprise. Customers are in search of domain expertise and deep skill to make complex technology solutions deliver value in their real world”.

Saul Judah’s January 2018 Gartner report “Data and Analytics Programs Primer for 2018” states: “As digital business moves into the mainstream, scaling the value and discipline of data and analytics programs is becoming key to business success. Data and analytics leaders must deliver market-differentiating strategies and practices that can scale with business ambitions.”

James Wilkinson, Entity Group CEO agrees: “The state of the existing market in Europe and North America shows the need for a global specialist player with proven strength in the relevant disciplines. Bringing Jibes and Entity together extends the breadth and depth of our capacity to help our customers deliver value at scale. We will be the go-to organisation to help organisations with their digital transformation challenges”.

Both organisations are recognized as a Representative Vendor in the March 2018 Gartner Market Guide for MDM External Service Providers.
